Let Fashion be your guide! Often times you’d wear what you’re afraid to put on a wall or even a rug or sofa color… BUT!!! Wait, if you’d wear it, chances are you love the color…so look to your closet for inspiration!
Jcrew bag yellow
Any girl will tell you a purse is key in completing an outfit, plus it gives even a shy person afraid to dabble in color the option to be bold in small doses! This is just an example of how fun somethign so small can make an entire outfit! Same goes for throw pillows, vases, and lamps.
Lilly pulitzer shoe green
Who doesn’t love a great shoe? Come on guys-even you like cool kicks right? It’s again to the point of completing the outfit and making a statement. Same applies within design. If you are intuitive to what gives you that extra “spring” in your step…that same energy will come out in your design!
Teal capri
When looking at bright color options, think of what room it’s best suited for, and take into consideration your own personality. Often times if your nervous about going bold in the living room, start in the bedroom and make a splash! Warm up to the color first and if you like, add in other more traditionally “formal” spaces!

Like any Accessory we’d wear, the same applies to a space. You need accessories to really tie the room together!
